the butterfly video

I was in such a rush to organize the Stained Glass Butterfly Square pattern for SIBOL before I went on holidays. While I should have been packing for the holiday, I was writing the pattern, then making the video for the embroidery. My daughter helped me make one on camcorder, take 2 was perfect until the cat decided to ask for dinner and DH came down the hallway and had a conversation with 20yo DS. We decided that it would be fine if we just edited the last few seconds. I was unable to put it on the computer as the cord was missing, then I remembered that the brand new digital still camera had a video mode. DD was out, DH and DS were busy, so I had to be creative in working out how to get the taping done and staying in shot. I found it harder to do as I was basically talking to myself. I had one good taping, but when i checked the vision was only half in the screen. On the final take I made a mistake saying treble instead of double treble, but I thought overall it was ok. It took about 10 hours to upload to youtube, it was driving me mad. But it all worked out fine in the end and i managed to pack and be ready to leave on time.
(I had to change to old editor in order to upload this photo!)

  2. Debi has done a great job, I don't think I've ever inspired anyone before! It's great how we all interpret patterns.
